Situated in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula, the plateau of La Mancha is the home land of the most famous character in Spanish literature: Don Quixote de La Mancha. The Autonomous Community of Castilla La Mancha is divided into five provinces: Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo; all of them with a particular character and an important cultural heritage that reveals a millenary occupation of the land.
